Sofia Angeles – Litigation Assistant
I started working for the Law Office of Mariano Morales in July of 2016. I am the youngest of ten children. My parents migrated from Jalisco, Mexico to give us a better life and future. I spent my summers growing up working in the fields with my parents and siblings, picking cherries and pears. Both of my parents worked hard to provide for us and valued our education. I remember as a child complaining about field work and my father’s response was always, “now you know what hard work is like and hopefully you stay in school and get a good education and someday you will work in an office instead of out in the sun. I want you to have a better future than this.”. I am thankful for my upbringing and my parents. Because of them, I have learned to be a hard and dedicated worker and value what I have.
I graduated from A.C Davis High School and married my High School sweetheart. We have been together for thirteen years, six of those married. We have an amazing daughter and son. I enjoy spending my time with family, reading and being outdoors.
Working for the Law Office of Mariano Morales has been great. I enjoy helping our clients and learning a bit of their background. Connecting with our clients and making them feel welcome makes all the difference. They know we care and are here to help them wholeheartedly. Another great thing about working here, is that your potential is recognized and if you are willing to learn Mr. Morales and the staff are more than happy to train you, even if you have little experience. I started as the receptionist and then I became the receptionist/claims coordinator and now I am proud to say I am the Litigation Assistant. I enjoy coming to work and seeing all my co-workers. Everyone is friendly and they make it fun to work here. I appreciate the opportunities I have been given to grow and look forward to learning new things and meeting new clients every day.
